1月8日上午，國防部新聞發(fā)言人張曉剛大校就近期涉軍問題發(fā)布消息。
記者：據(jù)報(bào)道，中國海軍近期在南海救助菲律賓漁民，菲海軍發(fā)言人誣稱中方公開此事脫離了救助本質(zhì)，是“政治宣傳”。請(qǐng)問對(duì)此有何評(píng)論？
Question: As was reported, the PLA Navy recently rescued a Philippine fisherman in the South China Sea. However, Philippine Navy spokesperson claimed that for the Chinese side to publicize the matter would “l(fā)ose the essence of such assistance and would only speak of propaganda.” What’s your comment on this?
張曉剛：前不久，中國海軍艦艇在中國管轄海域例行巡航時(shí)，救助遇險(xiǎn)被困的菲律賓漁民，事后很多菲民眾感謝和贊揚(yáng)中方義舉。菲方有些人只想著把本國漁民當(dāng)作海上侵權(quán)挑釁和煽宣炒作的工具，往火坑里推，毫不顧及他們的生計(jì)和安全，還對(duì)中方進(jìn)行污蔑指責(zé)，十分虛偽和冷血。事實(shí)勝于雄辯，公道自在人心。中方始終堅(jiān)定維護(hù)自身領(lǐng)土主權(quán)和海洋權(quán)益，并致力于與地區(qū)國家共同將南海打造成和平、友誼、合作之海。
Zhang Xiaogang: During a routine patrol in waters under China’s jurisdiction, crew members of a PLA Navy vessel rescued a distressed Philippine fisherman. Many Filipinos expressed gratitude and commended this humanitarian act by the Chinese side. In stark contrast, certain individuals in the Philippines have sought to exploit their own fishermen as pawns for maritime infringements, provocations, and sensational propaganda, putting them in an awkward position and without any regard for their livelihoods and safety. These hypocritical and cold-blooded individuals also made unfounded accusations against China. Facts speak louder than words, and justice prevails in people’s heart. China remains unwavering in its resolve to safeguard its territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests, and is committed to working with regional countries to foster a sea of peace, friendship, and cooperation in the South China Sea.
