The MND Urges the Philippine Side to Give up Unrealistic Illusions
10月17日下午，國(guó)防部新聞發(fā)言人張曉剛大校就近期涉軍問題發(fā)布消息。
記者：近日，菲律賓公務(wù)船非法侵闖中國(guó)南沙島礁附近海域，危險(xiǎn)接近中國(guó)海警船并發(fā)生擦碰。菲防長(zhǎng)聲稱菲方對(duì)黃巖島和南沙群島等擁有主權(quán)。請(qǐng)問發(fā)言人有何評(píng)論？
Question: In recent days, public vessels of the Philippine side illegally intruded into waters adjacent to islands and reefs of China’s Nansha Qundao. A Philippine ship bumped into a China Coast Guard (CCG) vessel after approaching the Chinese ship in a dangerous manner. The Philippines’ Defense Secretary claimed that the Philippine side had sovereignty over Huangyan Dao and Nansha Qundao. What’s your comment?
張曉剛：中國(guó)海警已第一時(shí)間對(duì)此作了回應(yīng)，并公布了現(xiàn)場(chǎng)證據(jù)視頻，是非曲直十分清楚，菲方侵權(quán)者、挑釁者、肇事者的行徑暴露無(wú)遺，容不得其狡辯抵賴。眾所周知，菲律賓的領(lǐng)土范圍早已由一系列國(guó)際條約所確定，中國(guó)黃巖島和南沙群島在其領(lǐng)土范圍之外。菲防長(zhǎng)故意歪曲歷史法理事實(shí)，妄想合理化菲方侵權(quán)挑釁行徑，這是根本站不住腳的，也是不可能得逞的。我們敦促菲方放棄不切實(shí)際的幻想，停止自導(dǎo)自演的海上鬧劇與煽宣炒作，中方將繼續(xù)采取堅(jiān)決有力措施，堅(jiān)定維護(hù)自身領(lǐng)土主權(quán)和海洋權(quán)益。
Zhang Xiaogang: The China Coast Guard (CCG) has responded to the incident and released video clips of the friction. The fact is crystal clear, and the Philippine side has no ground to justify or deny its intrusion, provocations and wrongdoings. As we all know, the scope of Philippine territories has been defined by a series of international treaties. China’s Huangyan Dao and Nansha Qundao are not within its scope. The Philippines’ Defense Secretary deliberately distorted historical and legal facts to justify infringements and provocations of the Philippine side. It is totally groundless and will not work. We urge the Philippine side to give up unrealistic illusions, and stop putting on self-staged farces at sea or orchestrating propaganda. The Chinese side will continue to take resolute measures to firmly safeguard our territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests.
